Celebrating Easter, Heavenly Parents’ Day, True Parents’ Day,
and Holy Wedding Anniversary
On Sunday, April 17th, CFC celebrated 55th Heavenly Parent’s Day, 63rd True Parents’ Day, 62nd Anniversary of True Parents’ Holy Wedding Anniversary, and Easter as part of the Sunday Service. We invited elders from the 43 and the 1800 Blessed couple to cut the cake and welcomed newly Blessed Couples in our community. It was a beautiful service with celebratory atmosphere. Pastor Crescentia DeGoede gave a passionate message with the title “The Gift of Resurrection”. After service, the congregation enjoyed fellowship over delicious Korean meal the kitchen sisters had prepared and the adults enjoyed an open mic entertainment.
Children’s Ministry prepared an Easter Egg Hunt. While the Prek to 2nd Grader group get to find their eggs, the older children had to find clues within their eggs to get to their Easter Baskets. After everyone got their prizes, the children all went upstairs to do some crafts with Sunmarie Burns. The children had a blast finding all their prizes and making their bunnies.
