Women in Ministry Virtual Prayer Luncheon

Among Rev. Dr. Karen Hollie’s numerous accomplishments are: clinical psychotherapist for 8 years, served 10 years in the school system, and 20 years in private practice, serves on several Boards, is actively involved in interfaith work, serves ACLC WIM in SR4, is the author of a few books, and hosts the show “It’s Complicated.” Rev. Dr. Hollie thanked all ACLC and began with “It’s your season to reap what you have sown!” She spoke on worship, stating that it is the business of the church, emphasizing that we worship God who is Spirit and that worshiping is a privilege. She spoke of the Samaritan woman at the well, stating that it is our responsibility to solve conflicts related to worship, wars, and choices. Rev. Hollie assured us that God reigns over all who proclaim Christianity, assured us that people in society want answers, are willing to listen and that we must tell. She clarified the purposes of praise, prayer and worship, then presented the Seven Atonements/Seven Blessings.
