Bishop Jesse Edwards Speaks at Live YUM on The Heart of Family
On Friday, April 22 the Yum ministries had its monthly young adult and young family gathering. The program began at 6 PM with dinner and continued at 7:30 PM with service and stretched beyond the 9 PM closing song with Boba, snacks, games and fellowship into the evening. Because of the warm weather we had a delicious Italian dinner outside and went inside for the service, featuring a live band, a special message from Bishop Jesse Edwards, a witnessing testimony from Keisetsu Nakamura while the whole evening was guided by our gifted MC Ryota Naito.
From the smallest child, three month-old Ezra Mansur, to the oldest member, great-grandfather Jesse Edwards, there were a total of 62 attendees at the service. We also had a couple of guests including Anna, Peter and Monika Lewis’s 430 tribe member, and Erik, Keisetsu’s spiritual child. A special feature of the evening was Bishop Edward’s ventriloquist act featuring his friend Cheeco. It was a great treat for the kids, as well as the adults. Bishop Edwards went on to speak on the topic of “The Heart of Family” communicating the essential need for relationships in the community, and ending with a spontaneous invitation for audience members to come to the front of the room to receive personal prayers and “miracles.“. Recipients of prayer/miracles on this blessed evening were Jennifer Yashiro, Mitchell Bien and Anna. The Holy Spirit was fully present.
