For this Thanksgiving, members from YSP and CARP in New Jersey volunteered their time in helping the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, NJ. On Nov. 22 a team of four sisters helped with bagging Thanksgiving meal side dishes, then on Nov. 23, five youth came to help with organizing and distributing the turkeys and food bags. The host and staff for the event were very grateful and impressed with our young people as they also helped with cleaning up at the end of the day.
